On 26 April 2024, Project Officer Dr Pablo Gavira Díaz welcomed a group of seven members of the United Nations Society Nuremberg e.V. to the Nuremberg Academy. Dr Gavira Díaz introduced the young delegation to the work of the Academy in detail as well as to various of its projects, including the Moot Court and the Summer Academy. In addition, the visit served to discuss some of the current challenges that international criminal justice is experiencing today, including the conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza. The role of the International Criminal Court in both situations as well the establishment of international tribunals also were topics of discussion among the participants. (pg)
